Rainbow Village—a military village in Taichung,Taiwan, founded over 50 years ago.
Huang Yung-Fu, an 91 year old who picked up his paintbrushes just a few years ago and personally covered the buildings with colorful animals and aboriginal-like people.
Each character of illustrations has its own meaning such as blessing, pray for safety, and hope.The paining is brilliant and bring up the happiness to people.
The Government of Taiwan was going to take over the land but they withdrew the policy since seeing the effeot Rainbow Grandpa made.
Rainbow Village has been transformed into the unique attraction since Rainbow Grandpa moved in.
Only 4~10 families live here now.
