Odori Park is a large park in the heart of Sapporo, which is the capital of Hokkaido. This park spans about 1.5km (0.9miles) and covers 78,901m² (849sq ft.) You may enjoy the relaxing atmosphere throughout the year, but this park is widely known for several events: Yosakoi Festival in June, Beer Garden in July and August, Snow Festival in February, and many more! There are some local landmarks such as Sapporo TV Tower and Sapporo City Archive Museum within the park. Also, everything is within walking distance; you may get off the train at JR Sapporo Station, go shopping in Odori Area, and enjoy the nightlife in Susukino.
