Everyone knows TapEx (Tapioca Express)! It’s almost ridiculous writing a review about this place because literally every asian in California knows about Tapioca Express. So let me explain to the foreign folks about this place. This place serves bubble tea, tea that is often sweet with tapioca bubbles in the bottom. There is a list of tea flavors that customes can choose from and decide what size they want it, whether they like it warm or cold, and whether they want to add boba (tapioca bubbles). This place is so popular because not only are the drinks delicious, this place is a hangout area for all of the asians in San Diego. It’s like where the cool kids go to hangout. Many asians there look dressed and it is usually very crowded during weekends. I love this place because they got delicious food and drinks but I grew up hanging out at TapEX with my other asian friends. So if you are new to going on tapioca runs every weekend, you should start NOW by going to a TapEx location near you!
