Rice Park is located in downtown St. Paul that contains a fountain and sculptures of Peanuts characters in honor of the birthplace of the cartoon creator Charles Schulz. During the winter time, there are many festivities due to the annual Winter Carnival such as the tree lighting ceremony and ice sculptures. There is a man-made ice rink at the park during the winter months. The park is also available as a venue for private parties and events.
