The Castle one of the oldest buildings in the small city of Marietta, Ohio, also one of the oldest cities on Ohio. This building serves as a volunteer opportunity for the local college students to give tours to those who are interested in the ancient building. This Gothic Revival style of architecture is ancient and participating in a tour would definitely be worthwhile and educational!
There are different “Victorian” activities to partake in all year round. Visitors enjoy playing croquet or making Victorian Valentines. Halloween is also a very important time of year for The Castle. This building is also haunted, which makes the “Victorian Funerals” very interesting to watch.
