This is the classic and icon jazz club in Chicago. Located in the Uptown neighborhood, this dimly lit, hardwood and velvet-lined watering hole has been the performance space for famous jazz musicians since the 1930s. Al Capone and the members of his Outfit frequented this place back in the day: photograph of the infamous gangster rests on a piano there. To this day,you can still hear quality jazz performers and poetry slammers work their trade each evening at the Green Mill.
