Fatboys Original by Hossien is a family-run cafe and Thai restaurant at 10a-10b Edensor Road in Chiswick, in the London Borough of Hounslow. The business trades under the long-running “Fat Boy’s” name, whose storefront signage still reads “Fat Boy’s Cafe & Restaurant – Since 1992,” pairing an English cafe by day with a full Thai restaurant by evening.
The kitchen serves a classic full English breakfast and cafe staples such as avocado on toast through the day, then moves into a Thai dinner menu in the afternoon and evening. Customer favourites include pad Thai, barbecued marinated squid, grilled jumbo prawns and Thai noodle soup, cooked in the owners’ own words in a “mum and dad” home-style tradition.
The restaurant is licensed, with wine and beer on tap advertised on its awning, and keeps a few pavement tables outside for al fresco dining. It is open Monday to Saturday from 7:00am to 9:00pm and Sunday from 7:00am to 3:00pm.
