Sapporo Snow Festival is an extremely popular winter festival in Japan, which is held in February. Sapporo-city has held snow festivals since 1950, and the festival remains one of the most major events in Sapporo. There are three sites where festivals are held: Odori site, Susukino site, and Tsudome site. The biggest and most popular site is Odori, which is held in Odori Park. You may enjoy the huge snow sculptures as well as ice sculptures and snow slides.
