About

DK House Tokyo Shinkoiwa is a large-scale international share house in eastern Tokyo, an eight-minute walk from JR Shinkoiwa Station on the Sobu Line. The property houses 163 rooms and is run by Daiichi Kousan’s DK House brand, which also operates share houses in Nerima, Saitama, and Hokkaido.

Residents come from over 50 countries, with many from Europe and the United States alongside Japanese tenants, creating daily English-language conversation and cultural exchange. The building includes a rooftop deck with city views used for yoga, stargazing, and tenant gatherings, plus a shared kitchen and lounge, a women-only floor, security cameras, and a bilingual manager in residence.

Shinkoiwa itself is a lively, multicultural neighborhood with an arcade of shops selling food from Asia, South America, and Europe, plus riverside promenades nearby. The station reaches Tokyo Station in about 13 minutes and Shinjuku in about 25 minutes via the JR Sobu Line, making it a practical base for study or work.
