There are eight galleries and three Drawing Walls in the indoor area, at the first step you walking into this place you have been mesmerized by Dale Chihuly. Every pieces of his work seems like telling a great story, you might stare at one amazing glass-made flower trying to figure out the story behind this then suddenly you realize that what you do is just be mesmerized and get lost in this wonderland. For me, that is the greatest way to appreciate the art from my deepest heart.
The centerpiece of Chihuly Garden and Glass is the Glasshouse, vivid glass flower installed at the ceiling of the glasshouse walking through this place is just like taking a bath in the warm, art water – feeling exciting and comfortable at the same time.
The last part is the outdoor garden. Chihuly has said, “I want my work to appear as though it came from nature so if someone found it… they might think it belonged there.” He balanced the art with natural life and they are match to each other. I found balance and truly peaceful at this place.
