Victoria Park is located in Causeway Bay and is the largest park in Hong Kong Island. The park has tennis courts, an indoor swimming pool, basketball courts, soccer fields, walking trails, a children’s playground, and other sports facilities. Victoria Park is a nice area to get away from the busy shopping areas in Causeway Bay.
The park has been a gathering place for domestic workers for a while in Hong Kong on Sundays, which is their day off. Some events are also held at Victoria Park such as the Lunar New Year Fair. Political demonstrations also occur at Victoria Park.
