Palais Bahia

Be the first to review

One of the old palaces built during the 19th century, the Palais Bahia is now open to the public to admire the architecture and surrounding gardens. Only a 1 euro entrance fee, the Palais is a great way to take a break from the heat. The building itself is surrounded by gardens full of orange trees, cacti and palm trees which lead you to the building itself. The Palais is a series of ornate rooms and courtyards that, while empty of the original furniture, still have the original artwork on the cieling and walls. You don’t need much time to walk through the whole Palais, but it’s a gorgeous and quiet escape right in the center of the city–and one of the best photo opportunities as well!
