If you’re in Japan, consider setting up a tour of the Asahi Shimbun (Newspaper) Tokyo Head Office. Asahi Shimbun is one of 5 national Japanese newspapers, which originated in Osaka in 1879. On the tour, you will learn about old processes of printing newspapers in Japan, as well as their current process. You will also visit the area where the journalists write their articles, where there are clocks for every time zone hanging all over the walls. It’s a great place to go to learn about some interesting history.
