Beech Hill Farm and Ice Cream Barn is a ninth-generation family farm in Hopkinton, New Hampshire. The Ice Cream Barn serves more than 75 flavors of New England-made premium ice cream, along with frozen yogurt, sherbet, sorbet, homemade waffle cones, sundaes, frappes and root beer floats. Pints, quarts, half gallons and other ice cream treats can be packed to go.
The farm’s country store carries New England specialty foods, baked goods and products from the property, including pasture-raised beef. Visitors can also explore the Gardener’s Barn and Potting Shed, see farm animals, use the picnic area and follow the mile-long Rhododendron Nature Trail.
Seasonal activities include two family-friendly corn mazes from August through October 31, with a published admission price of USD 7 per person and free entry for children age three and younger. The farm also hosts field trips, birthday parties and group outings. Its official site lists October hours from noon to 7 p.m. at 107 Beech Hill Road.
