The Bord Gáis Energy Theatre is quite a new feature to the cityscape of Dublin, opening only in 2010. It quickly made a name for itself though, drawing in internationally known theatrical performances from all across the world. The building itself is a mixture of gorgeous modern architecture with traditional theatre touches. It’s lounge (where you can grab a drink either before the show or during intermission) has a great panoramic view over the water and is lit up at night. If you’re in town this is definitely the place to go to catch the latest opera or performance, you won’t regret it!
