This temple is a smaller-scale replica of Byodo-In Temple, a United Nations World Heritage Site in Kyoto Prefecture, Japan.
You will occasionally hear people ring a 3-ton brass bell, Bon-sho (Sacred Bell), which was cast in Osaka, Japan and was brought all the way to Hawaii. Its sound is unutterable beauty, and instantly soothes your mind.
You can also enjoy wild peacocks, black swans and many Japanese koi fish.
