A lovely island getaway (if youre looking for something a little cheaper and closer than the Bahamas). The island is primarily indiginous, but on the front side exists many houses, a theater, and the beach where you can snorkel, kyak, and dive. The water is crystal clear on a perfect day. There are also island tour buses available for those interested in the history of Catalina. The town is occupied by bars, restaurants, and tourist shopping centers.
