Field Museum of Natural History

Be the first to review

The Field Museum, located in the heart of Chicago, Illinois, is one of the largest natural history museums in the world. Featured as the star attraction is “Sue”, one of the largest and most complete Tyrannosaurus rex skeletons to date; but Sue is far from the only exhibit worthy of note. Get an extensive look at the creation of mummies and the Egyptian afterlife in “Ancient Egypt”; travel through the microcosmic world from an insect’s eye-view in “Underground Adventure”; journey through all 4.5 BILLION years of Earth’s history with jawless fish, mighty dinosaurs, proto-humans and other strange creatures in “Evolving Planet”; and explore the entire animal kingdom through the Field’s labyrinthine “Animal World” and “Nature Walk” exhibits, which visitors have admired for over one hundred years! There is no end to adventure at Chicago’s Field Museum.
