Grins is a small vegetarian/kosher cafe inside the Ben Schulman Jewish Center at Vanderbilt University. It is on the Vanderbilt meal plan, but anyone can eat there. It has a sort of “hipster” vibe going, and it never gets too noisy. They will usually have a cool special of the day, and they always have an assortment of baked goods. Customers order at the counter, and come back up to get their food when their name is called. They are used to modifying anything on the menu, so don’t hesitate to ask! To-go orders are common, but if the weather’s warm enough, there are tables on the patio as well.
