Imabari Castle was constructed in 1604 by Todo Takatora, an ace castle builder at that time. The castle, built on the seaside plain and surrounded by the triple seawater moats, is one of the rare castle designs throughout the nation. The structure of the donjon is 5-layer-6-story, and the exhibits include the great collection of habiliments and armors.
