Irvine Park and Zoo is a free park and zoo that exhibits lions, tigers, bears, bison, hyenas, wolves, and a variety of small to medium sized indigenous wildlife. They also have a petting zoo with more friendly farm animals. The park features a picnic area, a public water play-fountain, and a 2 mile long trail that goes through the area for walking or biking, and in the winter, snowshoeing or cross-country skiing.
