Located slightly south of Gion, Kiyomizu Temple is one of the most famous sights of Kyoto. For a mere 300 yen entrance fee, you can get a beautiful view of the city. You can also drink from one of three waterfalls, which are said to grant success in one’s aacademic, social, or professional life, although no one knows which is which.
