Mammoth Cave National Park

Be the first to review

Mammoth Cave National Park is a very interesting place to visit. This enormous cave has a lot of history and is preserved very well due to the National Park. This is located in a Green River valley in south central Kentucky and visitors have been touring since 1816.
There are plenty of things to do at this park other than just visiting the cave. You can hike, canoe, kayak, horseback ride, bicycle, and camp. Any of these activities help make Mammoth Cave National Park a very fun adventure.
There are also interesting places to visit other than just the cave. You can visit Cedar Sink, Turnhold Bend, Green River Bluffs Overlook, Sloan’s Crossing Pond, Cave Island, River Styx Spring, Frozen Niagra, etc.
This cave is very complex with a large variety of ecosystems and fragile networks, so it is important to keep your hands to yourself during the tour.
Visiting Mammoth Cave National Park is a great experience for the entire family!
