The Minnesota Zoo located in Apple Valley houses many different kinds of animals. The zoo is arranged by habitats and go by themes and walking trails, which include:
– Medtronic Minnesota Trail
– Northern Trail
– Tropics Trail
– Discovery Bay
– Russia’s Grizzly Coast
– Wells Fargo Family Farm
The zoo is great for kids because there is a small playground inside the zoo and a fun little water fountain park where kids (or adults) can play with the water. Other attractions at the zoo include a bird show and camel rides.
Also located at the Minnesota Zoo is an Imax Theater. There are also places to eat within the zoo if you need a snack or a meal.
The Minnesota Zoo is fun to visit for all ages. Put on your most comfortable walking shoes because there is a lot to see!
