Multnomah Falls

Be the first to review

For those nature lovers visiting Portland, Oregon, Mount Hood is the must to see.  However, if you have some extra time, make a stop at the magnificent Multnomah Falls when you head east on I-84.  You will not be disappointed.  According to Native American legend, Multnomah Falls was the secret bathing place for a noble young princess.
Follow the freeway signs, take Exit 31, and enter a parking area.  Follow more signs, follow the path, and reach the waterfall.  The roaring water falls more than 600 feet above.  It is the perfect interpretation of power and beauty.
Take a few photos as you like.  Then move on along the paved trail.  A few hundred feet above, there is the Benson Bridge.  You must do it to have the full experience of Multnomah Falls.  Above you is the waterfall’s full 542-feet top tier.  Below, you see the second tier dropping all the way straight down.  Time to take more photos.
