Opening in 1927 as an Indian-style curry house, Nakamuraya has since expanded to include selections from a variety of international cuisines, as well as international and traditional Japanese desserts and pastries.  Nakamuraya’s head branch is located in the middle of Shinjuku, just a few minutes’ walk from Shinjuku Station, and is as popular as ever, offering both the curries they are renowned for and newer creations, such as seafood-macaroni gratin.
