Olive Pit Grill has served fresh, from-scratch Mediterranean and Greek cooking in downtown Brea since 2008, when the original location opened in the Birch Street Promenade shopping center at 240 S. Brea Boulevard. Built on recipes rooted in Greek family tradition and refined through professional culinary training, the restaurant grew popular enough in Orange County to open a second location in Huntington Beach, while the Brea restaurant remains the original flagship dining room.
The kitchen builds its menu around shareable mezethes such as lamb meatball saganaki, grilled octopus, calamari, spanakopita, and beer-battered feta fries, alongside homemade dips, Greek salads, wood-fired flatbreads, and classic entrees like grilled chicken kebabs, lamb chops, and sirloin steak served with basmati rice and tzatziki. A full bar pours wine, craft beer, and specialty cocktails, with weekday happy hour running 2-5 p.m. and rotating specials through the week, including discounted beers on Tuesdays, half-off bottled wine on Wednesdays, and specialty cocktails on Thursdays.
