Osio Cinema is a movie theater located in downtown Monterey, showing independent films, documentaries, foreign films, and movies you won’t be able to find in the typical movie theater. Students from the Monterey Institute of International Studies enjoy a student ticket price of five dollars every Tuesday, and there are other discounts for seniors, military personell, and other students. The cinema sells refreshments and there is a cafe adjacent to the theater which you can buy drinks and pastries to take inside.
