About 6 years ago, I transitioned from a successful law career in New York to dedicating my life to Yoga, health and wellness. After curing a herniated disc, developed from sitting at my old law firm desk, through frequent yoga practice, Rachel Cohen Yoga went from being a respite from everyday life to so much more – it was how to find balance, stability, health and happiness. Leaving my old desk behind and diving in, I have earned over 1000 hours of teacher training under the guidance of master teachers in New York. I am grateful to have the privilege to continuously learn from Colleen Saidman Yee, Rodney Yee, Heather Lilleston, Jamie Lugo, Nikki Costello and Sangeeta Vallabhan. Ultimately, I believe that the most important teacher is within. When I’m not learning from others, my curiosity digs me deeper into my self-studies, incessantly learning from my own practice, my body, my mind, life and my books.
