Seiryu is a chain of Japanese Izakaya’s with a fairly extensive menu. Much of the food is standardized for the chain, BUT each outlet has its own specials-of-the-day. Decent enough food, but Seiryu has a nice collection of nihonshu (Japanese Sake), including a nice starter with mini-cups of 4 of the main nihonshu types. Branches all over Tokyo. Typical bill will be about 2-3000 yen. (depending on the amount of alcohol)
Locations also in Kichijoji, Ikebukuro, Shinbashi, Ueno, and Kabukicho. http://www.seiryu-sakagura.com/
