The Space Needle is a landmark of the Pacific Northwest, as well as a symbol of the city, Seattle, located in Washington. It was built in 1962 for the World’s Fair and has continuously been a popular spot for locals and tourists. Inside the space needle, there is a restaurant called SkyCity, a gift shop, and an observation deck. The observation deck is located 520 feet (160 meters) from the ground and from there you can see the whole city as well as mountains and surrounding islands. It is a beautiful spot for families, couples, and friends to visit and soak in the site of the city. Many trinkets and symbols of Seattle can be found at the gift shop as well.
