Tai O is located on the western side of Lantau Island and is a fishing village. Tai O attracts many tourists because of their uniqueness with stilt houses built on water and for experiencing a quaint village community. For a reasonable fee, you can take a short boat ride around the stilt house village area and then they will take you to do some pink dolphin watching. If you are lucky, you can get a glimpse of the endangered pink dolphins.
Tai O is known for its local delicacies of salted fish, shrimp paste, and dried seafood.
