Defector’s Weld is a corner pub at 170 Uxbridge Road in Shepherd’s Bush, close to Shepherd’s Bush Market, Westfield London and the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire. The main bar is joined by Philby’s upstairs private room and a covered courtyard, giving visitors options for a casual drink, a group meal or a booked event.
The kitchen serves seasonal British pub food, including sharing plates and Sunday roasts, alongside draught beer, wine and cocktails. Food is served from noon to 10pm Monday through Saturday and from noon to 9pm on Sunday, making the pub practical for lunch, pre-gig food or an evening meal.
Defector’s Weld opens from 11am daily, closing at midnight Monday through Thursday, 2am on Friday and Saturday, and 11pm on Sunday. The official schedule includes DJs and music-led weekends, quizzes, special events and televised rugby; dogs are welcome during the day. Booking ahead is sensible for large groups, major matches and busy gig nights.
