The Rug Mine offers luxury handmade/hand-knotted Afghan rugs. Its vision is to deliver a piece of authentic art, history, and culture into people’s homes everywhere. To achieve this, its mission is to help clients select a beautiful, durable, and high-quality Afghan rug that will last as an heirloom over generations. Whether it’s toddlers learning to crawl or families coming together for board game nights, The Rug Mine’s quality, durable rugs serve as canvases for its clients’ memories. The Rug Mine is driven by a desire to make all people feel good in their spaces: cozy, comfortable, and creative. For this reason, each rug is made by seasoned Afghan artisans (mostly women) who, like Nargis, are dedicated to empowering women and crafting fair trade, sustainable rugs.
