A must for all nature lovers and a great place for photography as well as bird watching. It is located very close to Ahmedabad and I would recommend reaching the lake before sunrise. Sunrise over the lake is a stunning sight. It is a nice place for a picnic as well (food could be brought along). A nice way to spend a couple hours in the morning. The lake is host to many exotic birds (according to the migratory seasons).
