If you’re looking for a delicious Chinese experience, Wang’s Kitchen is one of the best places to go in Raleigh. It’s a small restaurant run by the chef and his family, and features two separate menus depending on the visitor’s taste: authentic Chinese and American-Chinese. Authentic Chinese features dishes from all of China’s various regions, while American-Chinese (like its name implies) is tailored to the tastes of an American audience. Since orders from the authentic Chinese menu take longer to prepare, the chef prefers for customers to make reservations ahead of time for orders off of that menu.
All of the Chinese dishes are flavorful and well-prepared, with appetizing colors and presentation. However, the non-Chinese menu items are not on par with the Chinese ones. The restaurant also delivers, with a track record of mostly on-time deliveries.
