About

A friend referred me to the Sakura Hotel when I first went to Japan in 2013. Though the price (about 7,000 per night for one bedroom) was a little high for my student budget I soon realized that staying at the Sakura Hotel was worth the price. I have stayed in the Hatagaya and Ikebukuro hotels and I prefer the Ikebukuro location.
I recommend staying at the Sakura Hotel because of the friendliness of the staff, the convenience of the location, and the 24/7 cafe. Even when I wasn’t staying the night in Tokyo I liked to come to the cafe and get some of the foreign food I was craving and just enjoy the atmosphere.
