Eikandou is a Zen temple locating in the northeast of Kyoto. It is famous for its gorgeous maple view in the fall. The whole garden is flaming with vivid fall color, which adds to the beauty of the buddhist buildings. Eikandou charges maybe the highest entrance fee among all leaf peeping spots in Kyoto. However,the breath taking view of it is definitely worth the price.
