Santouka

Their ramen is famous for its white soup base and roasted pork fillet.

Santouka was first opened in 1988 in Asahigawa. It was a small restaurant with only 9 seats and price range was higher than other mainstream ramen restaurants. It wasn’t very popular at that time.

However, after getting help from many others and working hard on taste and recipes, the restaurant was doing better and better.

Their ramen is famous for its white soup base and roasted pork fillet. Simmered with pork bones, vegetables, dried fish and many other ingredients, the have-to-drink-all-even-the-last-drop soup base is the one key of their ramen.
