The Red House or The Red Chamber Theater is right across the street from Exit 2 of Ximen Station on the Taipei MRT. It’s an old building and very western in aesthetic. However on 2-9:30pm on Tuesday to Sunday, the outside is jampacked with a plethora of white tents. Local artists set up booths and sell everything from handmade cell-phone pouches to rustic jewelry to beautiful decorations for your home. After perusing the Red House, head over to the entrance of Ximending for more shopping and tasty treats.
